Rosewood survivors are those persons who were living in Rosewood (1923) at the time of the Rosewood Massacre. Four of the seven Rosewood survivors testified at the 1994 Rosewood Hearings in Tallahassee. All survivors received compensation from the State of Florida.

Without Sanctuary Lynching Exhibit
The traveling exhibit, "Rosewood..... The Beginning that Never Ends," will open
with a reception in various Florida cities featuring Rosewood survivors
and descendents Rosewood survivors are those persons who were living
in Rosewood (1923) at the time of the Rosewood Massacre.
Four of the seven Rosewood survivors testified at the 1994 Rosewood Hearings
in Tallahassee. All survivors received compensation from the State of Florida.
The "Alumni Singers," a St. Petersburg based musical group, is composed
of graduates from colleges and universities. This group will perform
at selected Rosewood Exhibit openings, and as a part of a special bus tour
to the Rosewood site in Levy County.
A variety of Rosewood forums will take place in February,
"African American History Month."
